Muskego Elementary Welcomes New Principal

Jeff Petersen comes over from Bay Lane, as former principal Kaari Olson moves to a district position.

With the start of a new year, a couple of new faces will greet students and parents in the Muskego-Norway School district.

Earlier in August Kaari Olson, who was the principal the past two years, was promoted to serve as the district’s Coordinator for Pupil Services "after an unexpected vacancy in this position opened up in early August," according to Superintendent Dr. Joe Schroeder."   

In her place Jeff Petersen will now take the helm at  Muskego Elementary as the school’s next principal.  Petersen has served the past four years as associate principal at .

Schroeder lauded Petersen by saying, "in his years of service there, Mr. Petersen has shown himself to be a very dedicated and student-focused, learning leader."  

Petersen had also been an elementary teacher for six years prior to his middle school experience.

Students and parents had an opportunity to meet Petersen at a New Principal Welcome on Wed, Aug. 31 at Muskego Elementary.
