On Tuesday, Kapitanski was pulled over in the 9000 block of West Forest Home Avenue for having a burned out tail light on his car. During the traffic stop the officer noticed he had a municipal arrest warrant issued against him.
The passenger of the car agreed to drive the car home while Kapitanski was taken into custody, however, while checking the man’s license, a K9 unit detected drugs in the car. Police then searched the vehicle and found heroin stashed inside a cigarette pack underneath the center console.

Kapitanski told police the passenger wanted to buy heroin so he took him to his dealer in Milwaukee. He said he bought the drugs then gave them to the passenger.
