Muskego Man in Critical Condition After Highway 59/83 Crash
A Waukesha man is in custody and facing charges for the three-car accident.

A 35-year-old Waukesha man is facing charges following a fiery three-car accident early Tuesday morning on Highway 59 near Highway 83 that sent a 54-year-old Muskego man and a 57-year-old Mukwonago man to hospital, according to the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department.
The investigation of the crash is ongoing, but according to preliminary reports from the sheriff's department, the Waukesha man, who was driving a GMC Envoy, rear-ended the Muskego man’s Pontiac Grand Am, which had been waiting to turn left near the egg farm on Highway 83.
The GMC Envoy pushed the Grand Am into oncoming traffic, causing the collision with a Lincoln Towncar driven by the Mukwonago man. The Envoy became engulfed in flames, but the driver wasn’t injured, according to the sheriff’s department.

The Muskego man was taken to Froetdert Hospital in Wauwatosa by Flight for Life, where he remains in critical condition, according to Living Lake Country. The driver of the Towncar was taken to Waukesha Memorial Hospital via ambulance. He has been treated and released, according to Living Lake Country.
The Waukesha man remains in custody, according to the sheriff’s department, and is facing charges of knowingly operating while revoked causing great bodily harm.
