Muskego Men Charged for Allegedly Damaging Golf Carts, Golf Course
Suspect, 22, and two friends from Big Bend allegedly modified golf carts in order to make them go faster.

A 22-year-old Muskego man and two of his friends from Big Bend are facing charges after they allegedly smashed up signs and damaged two golf carts at Edgewood Golf Course, W240S10050 Castle Road, Big Bend.
Curtis M Macik, of Muskego, Luke Kopp, 22, of Big Bend, and Mitchell S. Bartczak, 22, of Big Bend, were each charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Friday with one count of criminal damage to property. If convicted, they each face up to nine months in prison and $10,000 in fines.
According to the criminal complaint, on June 6 the three men had been drinking and golfing at Edgewood, when they decided to tamper with the governor on both golf carts in order to make them go faster. While driving them at least one of the carts was rolled by the men, causing roof damage and the windshield to break on it.

The three men then proceeded to damage a tee sign, a green area and flag pole with the carts.
By the sixth hole of the golf course a man approached them and told them to “get the hell off my golf course” and told them to meet back at the clubhouse to discuss the damages, however, they instead fled into the woods.

Upon being interviewed by investigators, Kopp denied golfing with the other two, but a surveillance tape showed all three at the course at the time of the incident.
