Muskego Pet Food Company Seeks Financing Assistance from Milwaukee to Move

has operated a pet food facility in Muskego since 2006, but due to growth it will be moving to a new facility in Milwaukee.

To assist in the move, the company is seeking to borrow $4 million in tax-exempt bonds to fund the move, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Tom Daykin.

Although Stella and Chewy's would be responsible for the debt, the issue would allow them to pay a lower interest rate on the bond to purchasers because it would be exempt from state and federal taxes.

Their new facility would be located at 2842 S. 5th Court in Milwaukee and occupy approximately 49,000 square feet.
