Muskego Police Remind Motorists of Behavior Around Buses
School's back in session, and the roads feature more buses, so Muskego Police urges patience when encountering one on its appointed rounds.

Lt. Dave Constantineau of the is reminding motorists, "where there are buses, children are sure to be close."
After a long summer, he said people forget the rules when driving around buses, and the most important reminder is, "when you see flashing red lights on the bus, YOU MUST STOP. It doesn’t matter if you see a stop sign on the bus; it doesn’t matter if the gate on the front of the bus is out; it doesn’t matter if you see children; you must stop."
In addition, drivers should begin to slow down in either direction when the flashing amber lights go on, and remain at least 30 feet from the bus.
