Muskego's Youngest Engineers Show How They're Leading the Way
Engineering curriculum is 'Leading the Way' to careers in the field, and Muskego High School students will have their projects - and their innovation - on display.

How can young people learn to make a difference in the world? Muskego High School students are finding out that engineering is exciting and that the design process a dynamic method to solve problems. Part of the process is to present their work to the public.
We hope that you will join us on Thursday, May 16, at Muskego High School for either the lunch presentation from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. or the evening presentation from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Students from Introduction to Engineering Development, Civil Engineering & Architecture, and Engineering Design and Development classes will present their work in a trade show, table top format. Discussion and evaluation by the community and professionals will be welcomed by the students.

Teams of Engineering Design & Development students have been working to develop and test solutions to their identified problems they hope you will find interesting. Introduction to Engineering Design students have spent a lot of time working on two projects. They have made models for a toy train car project for children 2-4 years of age. The second project is their yearly problem-inquiry project. Civil Engineering & Architecture teams are developing solutions to community problems. Student designers are curious to find out what your response will be.
Muskego High School’s Technology, Engineering & Design Department’s philosophy is to develop professional respect across the technology continuum. One of the ways we are achieving this goal is to bring challenging curriculum to our students. Project Lead the Way is a national educational initiative. Out of the 200 Wisconsin high schools involved with the program, Muskego was the 22nd certified school, and was recertified as an Innovation Zone last year.
