Muskego School Board Meeting Snap Shot

Superintendent's report covers ACT results, start of school and new principal hire at Muskego Elementary.

During a brief meeting by the , highlights included the following:

Dr. Joe Schroeder, superintendent of the district, shared his enthusiasm over the recent results of ACT scores.  Muskego High School posted a new high of 23.9 on the college test, and Schroeder commented, "it was just a few years ago that we celebrated crossing the 23 mark, and here we are looking at 24."

Math and reading scores also reached new highs, with math scores coming in at 24.1.

Schroeder took that news to indicate a great start to the new school year, which officially begins this Thursday, September 1.

"I'm excited for the new year, and feel this could be the best year yet," he said.

Schroeder also announced that Jeff Peterson, who had been an associate principal at , will take over as the Principal at beginning this school year.
