Muskego Spring Election Guide

We want to make sure you've got all the information you need before hitting the voting booth on Tuesday, April 2.

In Muskego, the only local race featuring two candidates for alderman is in District 2, between William "Butch" LeDoux and Bob Hammel. District 4's Rob Glazier, District 6's Kevin Kubacki and District 7's Eileen Madden are running unopposed.

The Muskego-Norway School Board has incumbents Brett Hyde and Rick Petfalski running again, and both are also unopposed.

Several judicial races in Waukesha County are also solo efforts, with Mark Gundrum in Appeals, Michael O. Bohren in Branch 1 and Donald J. Hassin in Branch 9 running for their respective benches.

However, there is also a race for State Supreme Court between Ed Fallone and Pat Roggensack that needs your vote, as does a race for the state school superintendent between incumbent Tony Evers and challenger Don Pridemore.

Election Info

Registration: Haven't registered to vote yet? You can do so in person at City Hall in the Clerk’s office daily from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., and until 5:00 pm on the Friday before the election (March 29). Note the 29th is Good Friday, so City Hall will be closed at noon for all other business except voting and registration.

You must have resided at your present location for 28 days preceding the election and you must provide proof of residence if its within 20 days prior to the election.

If you register to vote at your polling location, you must first determine what district you are located in from the My Vote WI website and the location of that polling place. Once this is determined, you must bring Proof of Residence that you have lived at your present location for 28 days preceding the election.

•  District #1, Wards 1, 2 & 3
•  District #2, Wards 4 & 5
•  District #3, Wards 6, 7 & 8
•  District #4, Wards 9 & 10

•  District #6, Wards 13 & 14
•  District #7, Wards 15 & 16

Polling locations: Muskego has seven polling locations and all will be open for this election according to elections clerk Kim Chavie.  If you have any questions regarding the polling locations, please contact the clerk's office at 262-679-5628. 

Early voting: Download the absentee ballot application.You also may submit a written request via mail. The deadline to vote absentee is 5 p.m., Friday, March 29 (City Hall will be closed early for Good Friday, but open for voting only).
