
A Muskego man who got into a standoff with police after an argument about a shot beer can has pled not guilty.
Bryan Schulz, 42, waived his preliminary hearing Thursday on one count of second-degree reckless endangerment, one count of disorderly conduct and one count of operating a firearm while intoxicated. He’s now bound over for trial and will appear in front of Waukesha County Circuit Court Judge Bill Domina Aug. 8.
According to the criminal complaint, Schulz got into an argument with his wife in June after his stepson shot a beer with a BB gun can he said was valued at $450. During the course of the argument Schulz pulled out a .357 Magnum and waived it in his wife’s face.

She was able to send a text message to a neighbor telling them to call the cops. The victim was able to escape the residence before Schulz engaged in a standoff with officers.
He’s currently being held in Waukesha County Jail on $2,500 cash bond.
