Muskego Teen Charged After Trying to Hide Pills During Traffic Stop
Suspect had 47 pills he was trying to put under his seat while being pulled over for possibly driving drunk.

A Muskego teenager is facing drug charges after he was caught trying to hide pills under a car seat after being pulled over by police.
Nicholas M. Diels, 18, was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Monday with one count of possession of an illegally obtained prescription and one count of possession of a controlled substance. If convicted, he could face up to seven months in prison and $1,000 in fines.

On Dec. 3, Muskego police were called to Lakewood Drive and Racine Avenue after witnesses reported a possible drunk driver in the area. Police found Diels driving in the area and saw him hit a curb twice while they were following him.
He was then pulled over and as an officer was approaching the car, he noticed Diels lean forward and put something between the door and seat. He was asked to show his hands twice but refused and was then ordered out of the car.

Police found two bags of 47 various pills hidden underneath the driver’s seat of the car.
He will make his initial appearance in court Feb. 13.
