Muskego Warriors Loss to West: A Case of Mistaken Identity?

Balk call allows West to take lead, but pitcher said he was waving off mosquito.

The Muskego Warriors baseball team lost to Waukesha West in their summer sectional final on Friday June 22, according to MuskegoNOW.

The Warriors had been down 4-0 and rallied to tie the game in the fourth inning.  However, pitcher Peter Jewell tried brushing away mosquitoes while standing on the pitching rubber, and a runner at third base was permitted to score.

However, coach Jacob Paige told NOW, "He wiped something off his face is what I was told; I didn't see it. We're not for one second saying that was the difference right there."
