On June 1, Mayer was pulled over by a Wisconsin State Trooper on Oakdale Drive near School Road and she informed the officer she had just been in a domestic dispute. A Waukesha police officer then arrived on the scene and searched Mayer’s car, where he found three bindles (sacks) of heroin and another five bindles in Mayer’s purse.
Mayer told the officer she had just started using heroin and she purchased 11 bindles earlier that day from a guy at a gas station located at North 7th Street and Capitol Drive in Milwaukee.
