At 3:09 a.m. Jan. 3, police and fire officials were called to Dorshak’s condominium in the W17000 block of Briargate Lane after someone reported a fire coming from the building. While officers were trying to evacuate people from the condo, Dorshak’s son told them she had gone back into the building.

An officer found Dorshak passed out inside but was able to get her out. Once outside Dorshak admitted to starting the fire because she couldn’t handle it any longer.
