On Friday, Sept. 20, 2013 a ceremony was held at the Norway Evangelical Lutheran Church cemetery at Old Muskego town of Norway as a remembrance of Union Civil War veteran Col. Hans C. Heg. The ceremony was held at the exact hour (4pm) marking the 150th anniversary of his death at Chickamauga. He was wounded the day before on Sept. 19, 1863. He was 33 yrs old. The ceremony was conducted by the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War (SUVCW) Col. C.K.Pier Badger Camp #1.
