Scouts Honored by City

Two eagle scouts recognized for projects executed in county and city

The Common Council took time at Tuesday's meeting to recognize two Muskego Boy Scouts from Troop 19 with commendations for their efforts and achievements in becoming Eagle Scouts.

Andrew Stoehr led other scouts in designing and building a foot bridge to span a drainage ditch on the UW-Waukesha Campus, allowing soccer players and fans to access the fields.  Stoehr told the council that the project, once set up, took about a day to complete.  He is an honor student with plans for a career in the medical field when he starts college at UW-Madison in the fall.

In addition, Paul Koster redesigned and installed nine posts and 17 signs in Muskego County Park to earn his Eagle Scout ranking.  Koster is also an honor student involved in various extracurricular activities who plays several musical instruments, and hopes to include music in his plans after high school.
