Teen Could Face 6 Years In Prison After Night of Drinking
Suspect, 19, is free on bond for a pending case in Dane County and was riding as a passenger Thursday after drinking in Whitewater.

A Muskego teenager is facing up to six years in prison after a night of drinking while out on bond and awaiting trail on battery charges.
According to the criminal complaint, Jordan Michael Danegelis, 19, was a passenger in a car pulled over Thursday morning in North Prairie for having a defective headlight. Danegelis was one of three 19-year-olds in the car who all denied drinking even though the officer could smell alcohol in the vehicle.
Danegelis initially denied drinking, but after his blood alcohol level was found to be 0.128, he then told the officer he had denied drinking because it would go against his bond in a pending criminal case, according to the complaint.

The driver of the car told police all three of them had been drinking in Whitewater and stopped at a friend’s house in North Prairie and were on their way to take Danegelis home when she was pulled over.
According to court records, Danegelis was charged with one count of substantial battery in Dane County in March. He’s now also charged with one count of felony bail jumping, which carries a maximum sentence of six years in prison and $10,000 in fines if convicted.
