Teen Faces Drug Charges After Parking His Car in the Street
Muskego police officer notices marijuana in the teen's car while trying to help him find his keys in order to move the car.

An 18-year-old Muskego man is facing drug charges after he left his car partially parked in the street with marijuana in it.
Nicholas J. Schwabe was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Monday with one count of THC, the active ingredient in marijuana, and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. If convicted, he faces up to nine months in prison and $1,500 in fines.

At 11:52 a.m. Oct. 2, Muskego police were called to a residence in the S8300 block of Holz Drive after Schwabe parked his car partially in the road and partially in the front lawn of a residence and was blocking the road. A woman at the scene said it was her son’s friend’s car then got Schwabe in order to tell him to move it.
However, Schwabe was unable to find his keys and when an officer looked inside the car to see if they were in there, he noticed marijuana. The officer then opened the door with tools and smelled burnt marijuana inside the car.

Schwabe was then placed under arrest and his car was towed in order to get it out of the street. He will make his initial appearance in court Nov. 14.
