Warrior Update: Sports, Academics, the Arts and Prom
Students Bryan Kubel and Andi Pileggi provide the news from Muskego High School.

Good morning, Muskego High School! Here's this week's Warrior Update, courtesy of yours truly Bryan Kubel and Andi Pileggi.
First off, congratulations to the girls soccer team who played Green Bay Preble on Saturday. The game was tied at 2-2 at the end, and Muskego won in a shoot out! Great job, ladies!
Congratulations to the Muskego boys and girls track teams, who took 5th and 8th respectively at the Viking Invitational at Wisconsin Lutheran High School on Saturday. Xavier Jansen, Alec Van Hecker, Cameron Rygiewicz, and Neil Slomczewski took 1st in the 4x100 relay and 2nd in the 4x200 relay, Xavier Jansen took 2nd in the 200 meter dash, Ryan Johnson-Evers, Alec Van Hecker, Cameron Rygiewicz, and Neil Slomczewski took 3rd in the 4x400 relay Andrew Salo took 3rd in the 1600 meter run, Andi Pileggi took 3rd in the girls triple jump, and Courtney Bowen took 3rd in the girls shot put. Great job to all!

Congratulations also to seniors Joe Blommel and Emma Szczupakiewicz, who were named Muskego High School’s WIAA scholar athletes for 2012! This is an amazing honor – congrats Emma and Joe!

The girls softball team takes on Kenosha Bradford at 4:30 on Thursday and Franklin at 4:30 on Friday. Good luck to all teams this week!
This Friday from 6-9pm is Cabaret night, sponsored by the music department! It is $5 for students and $10 for adults. There is live music, raffles, and food. It is held in the cafeteria. All proceeds go the MHS music department. Come on out for an enjoyable evening!
The Muskego High School Drama Club presents the student directed drama Nevermore! by Julian Wiles, based on the life and works of Edgar Allan Poe. Performances will be held at the PAC this Thursday and Friday at 7pm. Tickets are $5 at the door. Break a leg!
