Warriors Pride: 5 Unforgettable Athletes From Muskego High School
From local fields to national fame, these stars got their start in Muskego.

Sports run deep in Muskego, and Muskego High School has long been at the heart of it. It’s no surprise some standout talent once wore the Warriors uniform. Today we're celebrating five unforgettable athletes from Muskego High School who made a name for themselves well beyond the hometown field.
1. Brandon Podziemski – NBA Guard (Golden State Warriors)
Muskego High School alumnus Brandin Podziemski developed into one of Wisconsin’s top basketball recruits before continuing his career at the collegiate level and reaching the NBA. He was drafted by the Golden State Warriors and has since established himself as a rotation guard, contributing as a scorer and playmaker early in his professional career. 2. Andrija Novakovich – International Soccer Forward
Former Warrior Andrija Novakovich pursued a professional soccer career that took him to Europe, including development time in the Netherlands. 3. Hunter Wohler – NFL Safety (Indianapolis Colts)
After his time at Muskego High, Hunter Wohler went on to play college football at the University of Wisconsin, where he became a key contributor in the Badgers’ secondary. He later reached the NFL and currently competes as a safety with the Indianapolis Colts. (Sources: Indianapolis Colts, ESPN)
4. Jessica Fernau – Wisconsin Girls Soccer Player of the Year
For her accomplishments on and off the field at Muskego High School, Jessica Fernau earned Wisconsin Girls Soccer Player of the Year honors for the 2024-2025 school year. 5. Noah Bindas – State Champion Skier
On the slopes since his youth, Noah Bindas developed into a high-level alpine skier while also competing in baseball during his time at Muskego High. He went on to earn state titles in alpine skiing and later competed collegiately for Northern Michigan University, continuing his career at the national and international levels.
