Angry Wife Throws Can of Shaving Cream at Husband, Police Report

Although woman claimed she had been reacting to abuse by husband, police cite woman with disorderly conduct for injuring him in incident.

A Muskego woman was cited for disorderly conduct after she apparently threw a can of shaving cream at her husband during a fight — and hit him in the forehead, police say.

Muskego police were called to the scene of a domestic disturbance on Oct. 30, and after interviewing both husband and wife, decided to issue her the citation.

The couple had been arguing, and the husband pointed out to police that he was injured by the woman in the process, according to the police report.

An officer noted a "circular bruise on his forehead consistent with the base of a shaving cream can" that had been thrown at the man by his wife during the  argument, the report said.

Police had some difficulty in speaking with the woman because of language barriers, but she had explained to the officers that she was tired of her husband always going out, and that she had been verbally and physically abused in the past.
