Woman Charged After Trying to Overdose Outside of a Muskego McDonald's
Suspect is crying when police arrived, saying she isn't sure why a large dose of heroin hasn't killed her.

A 25-year-old Muskego woman is facing charges after she allegedly tried to overdose on heroin outside of an area .
Victoria L. Ireland was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Thursday with one count of possession of narcotic drugs and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. If convicted, she faces up to three years and seven months in prison and $10,500 in fines.

On Sept. 2, 2011, officers were called to McDonald’s after an employee spotted Ireland sitting at an outside picnic table crying and asking for an ambulance. Officers found a syringe and drug paraphernalia outside and Ireland said she used a large amount of heroin because she wanted to end her life, but she wasn’t sure why it didn’t kill her.
She will make her initial appearance in court Aug. 6.
