• New Berlin warns of phishing scam targeting permit, planning applicants (fox6now.com) — New Berlin officials are warning residents, businesses, and contractors about fraudulent emails that impersonate the city's Planning Department and demand permit or application payments, especially via wire transfer or apps. Before paying any permit-related fee, you're urged to call City Hall at (262) 786-8610 and verify, avoid clicking suspicious links, and remember the city will never request payment through wire transfers, peer apps, or cryptocurrency.
