Rural Development has announced an investment of $800,000 to advance value-added agricultural projects throughout Wisconsin (milwaukeecourier.com) — A New Berlin-based company, Lush Farms, is receiving a $200,000 USDA grant to expand its worm-casting soil amendment business, adding revenue, customers, and a new job. The funding is part of an $800,000 statewide investment supporting value-added agriculture projects that boost rural economies across Wisconsin.
