City Of New Berlin: Press Release - Recycling Center Open Thursday 8/19

In response to the recent storms and continued cleanup of fallen trees and yard debris, the City of New Berlin Recycling Center, located at 3711 S Casper Drive, will be open this Thursday August 19th from 10 am – 7 pm.   Please keep in mind, however, that effective August 26th thru September 16th the Recycling Center will be closed on Thursdays to better accommodate construction contractors working on the City’s new DPW Cold Storage facility located on the Recycling Center grounds.  The center will be open normal hours on Tuesdays and Saturdays during this same stretch of time.

 Please be reminded, that as usual, the recycling center is open to residents only and proof of residency is required (Driver’s License, Utility Bill, etc).  We encourage residents to always check the city’s website for current days/times of operation.

 Residents are also encouraged to stay informed of additional changes through the City’s facebook page. In addition, all residents should sign-up for ‘Press Releases/Announcements’ thru “Notify Me” found on the City’s homepage and for the New Berlin Notes, our bimonthly newsletter.  Stay informed!
