City Of New Berlin: Press Release - Special Food Disposal

In response to the recent storms and continued power outages, the City of New Berlin will be holding a special drop off for food disposal this Friday, August 13th from 10 am – 3 pm and this Saturday August 14th from 8 am – 4 pm at the New Berlin Recycling Center located at 3711 S Casper Drive. Dedicated food disposal dumpsters will be available during these days/times only. If your refrigerator has not been running for more than 4 hours, the majority of items inside are recommended to be thrown out.

The Recycling Center will of course also be open for yard waste, fallen trees and yard debris as well as other normally accepted items. Please be reminded, that as usual, the recycling center is open to residents only and proof of residency is required (Driver’s License, Utility Bill, etc).

Residents are encouraged to stay informed of additional changes through the City’s  Facebook page. In addition, all residents should sign-up for ‘Press Releases/Announcements’ thru “Notify Me” found on the City’s homepage and for the New Berlin Notes, our bimonthly newsletter. Stay informed!
