Drug Arrests, Residence Broken Into: New Berlin PD Logs

NEW BERLIN, WI — New Berlin police responded to several calls for service in the past week. Here are a few highlights from the police log from Jan. 4 to Monday, according to online police logs.

Two men from Milwaukee were arrested during a traffic stop near National Avenue and 124th Street early Monday morning. Both were arrested for possession of methamphetamine.

A wallet was reported stolen from a locker at a New Berlin gym on 14900 West Beloit Road on Sunday.

A woman from Kenosha was arrested near Greenfield Avenue and Fairlane Avenue in the early morning of Sunday after a car accident. She was arrested for OWI causing minor injury, logs said.

A woman from Milwaukee was cited for possession of marijuana during a traffic stop near Cleveland Avenue and Stigler Road on Saturday.

A resident on 4500 South 124th Street reported their home was burglarized on Jan. 7. The resident reported two people broke into her home and stole multiple things.

Police were called to Costco on Jan. 4 after someone tried to obtain a prescription by fraud.
