Package Theft, Catalytic Converter Stolen: New Berlin Police Logs
Here's a brief look-back on New Berlin Police Department call logs from the past week.
NEW BERLIN, WI β Some New Berlin residents had their outdoor Christmas decorations damaged or stolen recently, a catalytic converter was reported as stolen, and several people were recently arrested for operating while intoxicated, according to online New Berlin police logs from Dec. 13-Sunday.
Here is a sampling of calls the agency received or handled in the past week according to online department call logs:
Christmas Decorations Damaged Or Stolen

A resident on 13700 West Cardinal Parkway told police on Dec. 15 their blow-up snowman in the front yard was damaged. A resident on 16000 West Top O Hill Drive also reported to police on Dec. 15 that their Christmas decorations were damaged overnight.
A resident on 3500 South Loretta Lane told police their Christmas decorations were stolen on Friday.

A resident on 3100 South Regal Drive also told police on Saturday that some of their Christmas decorations were also stolen overnight.
Catalytic Converter Stolen
A resident on 3300 South Sunny Slope Road told police on Dec. 16 a catalytic converter was stolen from their 2005 Saturn Ion at some point in the past two months. According to call logs, the theft likely happened from the parking lot of where the owner resides.
Package Stolen From Porch
A resident on 14000 Waterford Square told police that she witnessed the possible theft of a package from the front door of a home on Dec. 16.
Operating While Intoxicated
Police logs said several people were arrested over the past week after being accused of operating while intoxicated:
A Milwaukee man was arrested near National Avenue and Sunny Slope Road on Friday in connection with OWI-1st offense after he was pulled over by police.
A New Berlin man was found passed out behind the wheel of his running vehicle Friday night on 15000 National Avenue. Police logs said he was arrested for what could be a fourth OWI charge, as well as for possession of heroin and methamphetamine.
A Muskego man was arrested for operating while intoxicated after he was found sleeping in his vehicle at a gas station at 15075 National Avenue early Saturday morning.
A woman from Indiana was arrested for operating while intoxicated after a traffic stop on Interstate 43 and Moorland Road early Sunday morning.
A Milwaukee man was arrested for operating while intoxicated and for possession of cocaine during a traffic stop near National Avenue and South 130th Street early Sunday morning.
