Today Is Final Day To Nominate New Berlin Citizen Of The Year
Today is the final day that people can nominate others for the New Berlin Citizen of the Year Award, a news release said.
NEW BERLIN, WI — Today is the final day to submit nominations for the 2021 New Berlin Citizen of the Year Award. Nominations will be accepted through the end of Tuesday, according to a news release.
A written nomination with 500 words or less should be submitted to the Mayor's Office. The office will then judge each nomination based on contributions to the community, volunteer work, and civic engagement, the news release said.
"Individuals or groups are encouraged to nominate an outstanding New Berlin resident who has given tirelessly to the community," the news release said.

The person that wins will be announced by the Mayor at a future Common Council meeting. Nominations can be sent to Molly Styba: mstyba@newberlin.org.
