Volunteer Sought For Safety Saturday Committee: New Berlin Mayor
The City needs someone to fill a vacancy on the board that advises the Mayor for the Safety Saturday event.
NEW BERLIN, WI β A volunteer is being sought to fill an empty seat on New Berlin's Safety Saturday Committee.
The group meets monthly in cooperation with the New Berlin Police Department to plan a yearly Safety Saturday event. Members also meet with the mayor about personal safety, crime trends, crime prevention, and how to best inform police and citizens about crime in New Berlin, according to a news release from the city.
The position would be assisted by the Police Department with technical support and statistics about crime trends and patterns, according to the news release.
