Where To Get $100 For Your First COVID-19 Vaccine In New Berlin

For a limited time people will also receive $100 for getting vaccinated in New Berlin and across Wisconsin.

NEW BERLIN, WI β€” Anyone in Wisconsin that gets their first COVID-19 vaccination shot before Sept. 6 will also receive $100 from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, the agency announced this week.

Anyone in Wisconsin 12 and up that gets the vaccine in time will be eligible for a Visa gift card, delivered by mail. The new Wisconsin incentive came the same day the FDA fully approved the Pfizer vaccine for anyone 16 and up. Pfizer's vaccine is emergency use authorized for people between the age of 12 and 15.

"The public can be very confident that this vaccine meets the high standards for safety, effectiveness and manufacturing quality the FDA requires of an approved product," said acting FDA Commissioner Janet Woodcock. "Today's milestone puts us one step closer to altering the course of this pandemic in the U.S."
