13th Street Would Be Widened To 7 Lanes For Amazon: Report
The four-story, 2.6 million square foot Amazon fulfillment center will be built in the new Ryan Business Park.

OAK CREEK, WI -- In November, Oak Creek officials finalized a deal to bring a $200 million Amazon fulfillment center to the city with the promise of 1,500 new full-time jobs by the end of 2021.
The four-story, 2.6 million square foot structure will be built in the new Ryan Business Park in the City of Oak Creek, adjacent to the I-94/Ryan Road interchange.
As part of the project, Oak Creek officials said that area roads will be widened in order to handle the new influx of traffic.

According to a Milwaukee Business Journal report, Ryan Road will get two new driving lanes between 13th Street and I-94. But perhaps the biggest traffic change will be widening 13th Street to seven lanes in the area. That move is necessary because officials say most of Amazon's truck traffic will use that route to and from I-94.
