19-Year-Old Arrested After Woman Shot With BB Gun: Report

OAK CREEK, WI — A 19-year-old Oak Creek man has been arrested and may face charges after police say he shot a woman with a BB gun following a family dispute.

According to Oak Creek police call logs, officers responded to a home on the 1100 block of W. Oakwood Road at just after 8 p.m. on Aug. 30. Two 911 callers reported that the 19-year-old had become upset over a family situation.

Police call logs stated that the man went outside and started waving around a BB gun in the front driveway. Police said the man fired BBs at the garage and one at a woman, which struck her from the back. Police also said they learned the man also threatened to shoot another family member outside during the dispute.

Police say he was arrested and faces potential charges of second-degree recklessly endangering safety and disorderly conduct - while armed. Police say they recovered the BB gun and 13 metal pellets.
