2 Bodies Found In East Troy Not Linked To Jayme Closs Case: Cops
A Franklin man has been arrested in connection with two bodies that were found in East Troy Thursday night.

FRANKLIN, WI -- Authorities in Franklin say they've arrested a 43-year-old city resident, saying he's somehow connected to a Walworth County case in which the remains of two people were found in a burn pit.
According to the Franklin Police Department, authorities in Milwaukee were investigating a missing person s case related to the disappearance of two people. Their investigation led them to a farm house in the Town of East Troy.

According to officials, investigators found a burn pit on the property that contained the remains of two people. Authorities are working to identify the bodies, and have yet to release further information pertaining to their identities.

Police say the Franklin man is being held on suspicion of first-degree intentional homicide - a charge that is punishable by life in prison without parole.
Reports earlier in the day speculated that Thursday's investigation in East Troy was somehow related to the Jayme Closs case - a claim that has since been proven false by multiple agencies.
