$35K In Construction Equipment Stolen In Oak Creek: Report
The person who called police said the skid steer was a yellow and black 2006 New Holland L170 "skidder with bucket."

OAK CREEK, WI -- Authorities in Oak Creek are investigating the disappearance of a $35,000 piece of construction equipment after a skid steer was reported stolen on Dec. 3.
According to police reports, an employee with Lingford Construction and Transport contacted police, saying that the skid steer was stolen from a construction site near the Oak Shores Apartments sometime between Dec. 2—3.
The employee said the skid steer was a yellow and black 2006 New Holland L170 "skidder with bucket." The employee said that the skid steer had been parked in by a pickup truck, and that whoever took the skid steer must have done so by driving it down the sidewalk.

The construction equipment was officially reported as stolen. South Milwaukee also had a skid steer stolen from in front of a local business on Nov. 25, police reported.
