4 Busted For Pot At Bender Park: Report

OAK CREEK, WI — Authorities in Oak Creek say a routine patrol at Bender Park resulted in four people getting busted for marijuana.

According to Oak Creek police call logs, an officer on patrol at just before 3 a.m. on Aug. 9 saw a vehicle in the lower parking lot at Bender Park.

Call logs stated that the officer ended up talking with four people who were there, and smelled burning marijuana. When the officer searched their car, he found about 46 grams of marijuana, multiple pipes, liquid THC and plastic baggies.

Police call logs stated that the officer cited the four people, one of which was less than 18 years old, with multiple citations including possession of marijuana-intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.
