Oak Creek Fire Victim Identified as 54-Year-Old Brookfield Woman
Two people were trapped inside the structure when rescue arrived. Police have released the identity of the woman who died.

OAK CREEK, WI — A 54-year-old woman is dead and a second person was hurt after a fire broke out in a mobile home in Oak Creek.
According to Oak Creek Police, Linda Pearson from Brookfield, was rescued from the fire but later was pronounced deceased at St. Luke’s Hospital, CBS 58 has reported.
According to a WISN report, the Oak Creek Fire Department responded to the fire late Monday night at a mobile home community near 23rd St. and College Ave.

Oak Creek Fire Department officials stated that two people were trapped inside the mobile home when rescue arrived.

Both residents were rescued from the burning structure, however the woman ended up succumbing to injuries sustained in the fire.

The Red Cross is providing aid and financial assistance to the family for items such as emergency housing, food, and clothing, if needed.
