60-Year-Old Man Dies From Caterpillar Accident
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner released the name of a man who died from his injuries in a Caterpillar industrial accident.

OAK CREEK, WI — The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner has identified the man who died after a heavy steel plate fell on him in an industrial accident at Caterpillar, 1100 Milwaukee Ave. on May 10.
That man, 60-year-old Steven Wade of Oak Creek, died from his injuries on Monday, May 14, four days after the date of the accident.
Authorities are reporting that Wade was welding plates when police received a call at about 2 p.m. repording that Wade had been seriously injured in an accident.

The South Milwaukee Police Department, Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office and Occupational Safety and Health Administration are all investigating the incident.
Caterpillar issued a statement following the tragic accident,"We are deeply saddened by the death of our employee who was involved in an accident in our South Milwaukee facility on May 10. Our thoughts and prayers are with this employee's family, friends and co-workers. the company has arranged for counseling to be available to employees who may request it."
