7-Eleven Customer Has Running Car Stolen, Turns Up in Milwaukee
A man left his car running at 7-Eleven only to have it stolen. Police spotted it in a McDonald's drive-thru, but couldn't stop them.

OAK CREEK, WI — A man who left his car running while he went to 7-Eleven came out to find his car stolen - only to find it abandoned in a Milwaukee intersection.
Oak Creek police responded to the 7-Eleven just before 6:30 a.m. on Sep. 2 on a report that the owner of a 2017 Hyundai Sonata was stolen from the lot while it was running and the owner was in the store.
Accordigng to police reports, 7-Eleven surveillance footage showed a suspect entering the man's car and fleeing northbound on Rawson Ave. with a white SUV-type vehicle behind it.

According to police reports, vehicle GPS revealed the vehicle was in the area of 22nd anf Fairmount in Milwaukee just after 9:30 a.m. It could not be disabled remotely because the vehicle was traveling more than 50 miles per hour.
The vehicle was then located in a McDonald's in Milwaukee, but the driver fled in the vehicle, and the officer lost sight of it due to heavy traffic.

Later that morning, at 10:25 a.m., the vehicle was found unoccupied in the middle of the roadway at 68th and Silver Spring. No exterior damage was reported, but the apparent suspects ripped botht he left and right front interior pillars by the dashboard in an attempt to disconnect the GPS device.
