ALDI Sets Opening Date In Oak Creek

OAK CREEK, WI — ALDI is set to open its newest store located at 410 W. Drexel Ave. on Thursday, March 7. Company officials said the new location is part of a $3.4 billion investment to expand to 2,500 stores nationwide by the end of 2022.

ALDI will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, March 7, at 8:25 a.m., followed by its Golden Ticket giveaway offering gift cards to the first 100 customers. Shoppers can also sample ALDI-exclusive brand foods and enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win a year’s supply of ALDI produce.

“As part of our nationwide product refresh, our new Oak Creek store offers customers even more of the options they want and love,” said Atty McGrath, Oak Creek division vice president for ALDI in a statement to Patch. “Increasing our fresh food selection is just the latest example of how we listen to our shoppers and evolve to meet their needs.”

Company officials said ALDI is increasing its fresh food selection by 40 percent with many organic, convenient and easy-to-prepare options. Officials said the Oak Creek ALDI store will feature open ceilings, natural lighting and environmentally-friendly building materials.

The store will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Sunday.
