Apartment Fire Caused By Faulty Dryer: Report
Police and fire in Oak Creek responded to an apartment on E. Arbor Circle after witnesses reported white smoke coming from the building.

OAK CREEK, WI — A faulty dryer was to blame for an apartment fire in Oak Creek, officials say.
According to Oak Creek police call logs, authorities received multiple 911 calls about white smoke that was coming from the roof of one of the apartments on E. Arbor Circle at just after 1 p.m. on Aug. 10.
When authorities investigated, they reported that it appeared the fire started in the laundry room of one of the apartments.

Investigators said there was extensive water and fire damage to that, and numerous other apartments in the complex as a result of the sprinkler system.
Police said the fire appeared to be caused by a faulty dryer.
