Burglar Steals 3 Pairs Of Air Jordans: Report

OAK CREEK, WI -- Police in Oak Creek say that a burglar stole three pairs of Nike Air Jordan shoes - and left a pair of Air Jordan sandals behind at the crime scene.

According to Oak Creek police reports, officers responded to the 6800 block of S. Timber Ridge Lane just after 5 p.m. on March 18 on a report of a burglary.

According to reports, the person who called police said she arrived home earlier in the evening and saw that her door was open and that the door frame had been broken.

According to reports, an upstairs tenant said that sometime between 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., she felt the floor shake, and could hear items being moved around upstairs, but thought that her upstairs tenant may have been in the process of moving out.

Police said that three pairs of $200 Nike Air Jordan shoes were stolen, and about $100 in change. The shoes were size 15.

According to reports, the suspect left behind a pair of Jordan sandals that police took in as evidence.
