Burglary At Oak Shores Apartments: Report

A duffel bag had been taken that contained three necklaces and $50 in fake diamonds.

OAK CREEK, WI -- Police in Oak Creek responded to the Oak Shores Apartments just before 10 p.m. on Oct. 16 on a report of a burglary.

According to police reports, an apartment resident just got home that evening to their apartment on the 2200 block of W. Greenbriar Ct. only to find that their door had been forced open.

When the resident entered their apartment, they found that it had been rummaged through. A duffel bag had been taken that contained three necklaces and $50 in fake diamonds.

According to police reports, whoever entered the apartment rummaged through a file cabinet, the resident's mail and miscellaneous paperwork around the living space.

Police noted that the suspect left common electronics such as a television and a laptop behind.
