Burglary Reported At Oak Creek Estates: Report

Police say the suspect forced the rear door of the trailer open and that it appeared they used some sort of prying tool to gain entry.

OAK CREEK, WI — Authorities in Oak Creek investigated an apparent burglary case in the Oak Creek Estates mobile home park.

According to Oak Creek police reports, a resident called the police department, stating that while she was away, someone pried open her trailer's back door. Nothing appeared to have been taken, and nobody unexpected was inside.

The officer on the scene reported that sometime between 4:30 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Sunday, an unknown suspect forced the rear door of the trailer open and that it appeared they used some sort of prying tool to push the lock out of the door frame.

The resident told police that the estimated damage value was about $100. When police questioned neighbors, they did not report anyone suspicious in the area at the suspected time of the incident.
