Car Break-In Suspect Pried Window Open: Report

Reports stated that police reviewed surveillance footage and learned that a dark SUV pulled up next to the victim's car.

OAK CREEK, WI -- Police in Oak Creek say they're investigating a car break-in case in which the suspect pried open the driver's side door in order to gain access to the interior of the vehicle.

According to Oak Creek police reports, officers responded to the Kohl's Department Store parking lot just after 3 p.m. on Feb. 8 on a report of a break-in.

According to reports, a store employee called police saying that their car had been broken into earlier that day and that someone was trying to use their credit card at a local gas station.

Reports stated that police reviewed surveillance footage and learned that a dark SUV pulled up next to the victim's car. A suspect got out of the car and pried the employee's driver-side window open, causing $300 damage to the vehicle.
