Car Crashes Through Papa Murphy's In Oak Creek: Police
Flip flops and long pants are to blame after a driver hit the gas pedal and slammed through the store window of Papa Murphy's police say.

OAK CREEK, WI — The Papa Murphy's Pizza place on the 8800 block of S. Howell Ave. was shut down temporarily after the driver of a vehicle crashed into the restaurant's front window.
According to Oak Creek Police reports, officers responded to the Papa Murphy's just before 10 a.m. on May 5 on a report of a property damage motor vehicle accident.
Reports indicated that the driver of the vehicle, Michele A. Iverson of Oak Creek was pulling into the second parking stall on the southwest side of the building. She reported wearing flip-flops and long pants. When she went to apply the brakes, she accidentally hit the accelerator, causing the vehicle to smash into the building, and to drive through the front of the building.

Police reported that there was extensive damage to the building's glass metal and brick entrance. the car sustained damage to the driver's side hood and front bumper.
