CALEDONIA, WI — A family from St. Francis is hoping to be reunited with their dog before Christmas after their car was stolen with him inside from a holiday lights festival in Caledonia on Friday, the Caledonia Police Department announced via Facebook.

Bruno, a ten-month-old Boston Terrier, came along with the family for a ride through Jellystone Park's light show, but police say when the family stepped away from the car, leaving Bruno inside with the heat on, the car was stolen.

Police said Monday there have been no reports of the car showing up so far even after it was entered as stolen.
