Car Stolen From Meijer Parking Lot: Report
The vehicle owner told police that he left his passenger in the car for a short time when he went into the Oak Creek Meijer.

OAK CREEK, WI -- The owner of a silver 2009 Chevrolet Malibu told police that his vehicle was stolen in Oak Creek after he left a passenger in the vehicle by himself as he went to shop in a local grocery store.
According to police reports, police responded to the Oak Creek Meijer on the morning of September 8 after the owner of the vehicle told police that he left a passenger in his car along with his key fob.
According to reports, the owner of the Malibu that was stolen told police that he was at a gas station on the south side of Milwaukee earlier in the day when a person asked him for a ride.

The vehicle owner told police that he left his passenger in the car for a short time when he went into the Oak Creek Meijer to do some shopping.
When the owner came back out, he saw that his car was gone. The vehicle was reportedly taken with keys and there were two license plates on the vehicle - although those plates were listed to a different vehicle on account of a pending plate transfer with the DMW, according to police reports.

The estimated value of the vehicle is $5,100. The vehicle owner also told police he had $2,000 worth of shoes and designer clothes in the trunk of the vehicle.
