Car Stolen Out Of Oak Creek Woman's Garage: Report
Police say a mother had just dropped off her kids at school and parked in her own garage when car thieves struck.

OAK CREEK, WI — According to police call logs, a resident living on the 8000 block of S. Long Meadow Drive called police just before 10 a.m. on May 22 on a report that her vehicle had been stolen from out of her garage.
According to police, the woman told officers that he recently parked the vehicle inside her garage after dropping off children at school. She left her purse and keys inside the vehicle with the garage door open.
Minutes later, she went back into the garage to find that her vehicle was missing, according to police call logs. A purse, $500 in cash, and a number of credit cards were in the vehicle that was stolen.

Police call logs stated that a suspect, described as a man in his twenties with a thin build, and dark hair, got out of a black sedan and went into the garage to steal the car. The vehicle was valued at $15,000.
According to police, the stolen vehicle was later found just before 9 p.m. that same day after it was discovered abandoned by Milwaukee police.
