Catalytic Converter Theft Reported In Oak Creek

OAK CREEK, WI — Authorities in Oak Creek say the owner of a vehicle reported a catalytic converter theft last week.

According to Oak Creek police call logs, the owner of a vehicle called police at just before noon on Aug. 15, reporting that an unknown suspect cut the catalytic converter out from under their vehicle.

Police said the man's vehicle was parked outside, at the LaQuinta Hotel on S. 13th Street and that the owner had been out of town and on vacation over the previous 10 days.
